Despite voles, rains, and lack of time our dahlias are beginning to bloom. Deep crimson and blushing pinks for now. Our southern summer heat rages on but seeing the fruits of our labor begin to pay off makes the sweat, stress, and tears feel more rewarding than the struggle to get here.
