Shannon & Todd

Designing for a wedding at The Turnbull is always a great experience. But add in an amazing photographer, a super fun and colorful palette, and the fact that we were designing for friends of ours and our job becomes so much more life giving. To say we were excited is a definite understatement.

Matthew became friends with Todd when they worked together years ago and we have since gotten to know Shannon. We were elated when they asked us to design florals for their wedding. Shannon’s request was - use all the colors! And I was a happy girl. The wedding happened in March of 2018 (time flies so fast!!) so we were able to use flowers like Icelandic Poppies, daffodils, tulips, anemones, ranunculus, spirea and more. They got married on a beautiful, local bluff which fits their style and personalities perfectly. I love it when couples customize their day to reflect who they are.

For their reception, they came to The Turnbull for the party and turned up the volume with their decor. We even had the honor of being guests to this one!
