Rachel & Ryan
Did someone say DAHLIA??? This is what happens when style and season aligns. We are reaching back to 2019 PRE-PANDEMIC to show you how a beautiful color palette achievable through seasonal (FALL) dahlias is always a win-win. Rachel was such a joy to work with and we were just over the moon with the end result of this beautiful day. Take a look and see for yourself how working with the seasons can be so breathtaking!
These are the sweetest getting-ready details ever. The cottage at Ridge Rose is just so cozy and perfect for a fall wedding.
Their wedding took place in late September before the weather got cold but just when the dahlias really get going. We also still had other unique elements from the field like the curly grass that we added just a hint of on the tables. The small touches of grass are a timestamp. These elements are growing here and now and that is always unique to your day.
There are many ways your color palette can say Fall without being too literal or in your face. I think the warmth of the peach and coral tones, and the textures of the dahlias themselves, gives just enough of a push toward Autumn so that it didn’t translate to Spring pastels. What do you think?
Of course the view at Ridge Rose is always so beautiful!
Its classic without feeling too stuffy and just wild enough to feel natural, airy and organic. My three favorite words.
We haven’t even talked about the blue! Just a little bit here and there. It gives me Dutch painting vibes anytime the cools and warms get to join together in a palette and peach is the focus.
